MUCH prefer Brooklyn to Manhatten, you can read why in my travel diary. So much more 'real', vibrant, full of young people and live music bars. Apparently what the East Village used to be like. West Village I've found to be a little staid and quiet and boring...not helped by not feeling so adventurous and not having anyone to go out with.
Anyway, just waiting for Erin now, we're gonna do Ellis island I think and see the liberty statue too. Whoop!
