Fab weekend of Gayness at the pride!

Went out with Harri after work on a boat with her two friends from home. Had a pleasant little pootle around the canals before getting dropped off near our pole practise.

Saturday had a bit of a lie-in, was really tired! Then did some bits before heading over to the Prinsengracht for the pride celebrations. Was pretty awesome actually. Totally different to see it from a boat (photos to come). JELTE and Phillipe were our skippers for the evening, it was really nice of them to take us out - we paid of course, but you should've seen the traffic on the canal afterwards, it was a little bit mad.

We watched the boats, then followed the crowd down to near where we were getting off - Amstelveld. It rained alot the whole afternoon (pretty patterns with all the umbrellas everywhere), and by time we got to the veld square it was really raining, so we headed into the kroon for a bit instead.

After it all calmed down, and a drink in there, we headed over to the gay street as Becky, Mark and some others had headed off there. Was really fun down there actually, the tunes were a pumping, the crowd was nice, bumped into Paolo who haven't seen probably since last year or so. Stayed there until the music stopped, ended up walking around with this guy from Romania, who looked very cute but was about 12 years old (think he thought better of it too once we went inside April and he saw the wrinkles) so he left. Good thing too.

Think gay moment of the night was being grabbed by a girl and her boyfriend and being asked to kiss both (by the girl), then being asked which was better (defo the girl, the guy was a bit unsure of it all)>too funny. I wasn't expecting that at all.

Yesterday felt a bit shocking but got up as I was supposed to be meeting Manuel to see my place. He didn't show (can't say I was sad, I wasn't feeling very sociable!!) and so started tidying up a bit instead, and went and bought some healthy food. Been having the strangest hangovers where am craving veggies and fruit rather than fried shit and chocolate.

Had a nice day in the end (after getting over feeling might be dying and got up). Watched a fair bit of the 24 series, also cool.
