Written sunday night,late, after Fabi had just letf.

The hilarious loveliness that is Fabi has just left the building, or rather…my building. I tell you, I could really learn some stuff off that lady. In the time she’s been here, made a new friend (LOU) who went out with to the Jordaan on Friday night (Burger Patio and de Tuin which both of them loved), then dragged fabi home by her hair practically after she failed to pull a couple of hot young things.
Sat, lazed most day, dashed around for first Christmas Shopping and then met the girls for a drink.
We went out much later on after some champers round mine (to celebrate my recent news about work), Bonnie came for the dinner and for a drink and then went home, leaving her two mates Naomi and Eva – two new single girls on the scene. Then we went Café Cuba, Warmoestraat, and guilty pleasure ‘De Kroon’. Fabi loved it in there, another couple failed attempts at pulling, but she was approached and flirted with by loads of guys and wanted to dance so it wasn’t too much of a problemo. We ended up chatting to these SUPER CUTE American guys at the end, really lovely and then on way out I bumped into an ex-colleague of mine, Elvin. He’s had some shit happen to him since he left MC (girlf. got MS and almost died), then he and his cute friend walked us home. By time we got here we were too late to go anywhere for the drink, and then weirdly bumped into the American guys again which was cool – so they came back for a drink and a smoke.
Lots of strange random things like that happened this weekend – went to dinner at Bar Italia, cool place on Nes & Rokin, and who was our waiter, but cute young bloke who had tried to chat Fabi up earlier on in the evening at De Kroon. Too. Funny. She handled it pretty well, and so did he. It was his first night there, think it would’ve been even worse if she’d pulled him as he has a girlfriend!!
Earlier today we did brunch around little Jen’s, which was really cool too, I was my usual hour/hour and a half late, but stayed longer at the end after Fabi came over. Nice to see everyone although somehow everyone was talking about me going even though no one is supposed to know yet :P

Seriously Fabi is a work to behold when she’s out on the rampage. She just stands and stares at people until they come and talk to her, and then almost suctions herself to their face immediately if they do come talk to her, and all the cute guys do want to come talk to her – Brazilian dark and pretty has a bit appeal, and she is lovely, and feisty with a pair of cohones almost as large as theirs – she was talking so loudly about this waiter guy and he was right next to us – there’s me being mortified and she’s all ‘what, he came and chatted me up and then told me he had a girlfriend when I tried to kiss him, what do you expect?’ within his earshot. It must be great to be that oblivious - that girl!
