I just have to write in here because I want to remember the crazy weekend I just had. Not crazy in a going out sense, but just a good, filled, not much of a hangover weekend...

Friday couldn't find anyone to come out and play after Harri canceled and so was home early-ish - probably not such a bad thing as I was pretty knacked after the full on week.

Meant saturday could get up early, go running (!!) and then do some well-needed veggie etc shopping. Actually went to C1000 on Java island, was such a trip down memory lane of shopping there with Kit Kat for our parties (and Paula when she came over...).

Got back here and had some lunch, did a bit of work and then went over to Mon's because we were starting Museum night from her end and haven't seen her in weeks. She's still happy and constantly feeding little Nora who's gottten all podgy since last time we saw her!!

Museum night was really cool this year, I remembered last year being with that US bloke called Rockland, can't believe that was a year ago...it was warm, I only went out in a cardi. We hit the east side this time, Artis Aquarium, the Zoo and the Planetarium. It was really busy so sent about 2 hours in queues literally, but it was worth it. And we were chatting to these two nice but quite geeky guys in the queue for the zoo wich helped to pass the time. They met us later on at Smart Space which was fuunny, finaly managed to meet up with Alexandra there. We'd been texting each other all night but they hit a completely different area to us and then we got into the wrong queue, and by the time we realised we'd been standing there for too long to just leave. It was worth the wait, a night tour of the place with the monkeys hanging. The Jaguar, and the bird place, with uiour guide 'Frank' who sang a song for us at the beginning.

Bumped into Rogier as well in the Aquarium and then also Smart space, nice to see those guys (and dawn who = hheavily preggars, very funny to see her like that after all this time). Before we knoew it ,it was 4am and we were still sat there chatting away so we left, not without having a quuick boogie with JD on the way out.

Remember: the Aquarium, the cool show with the strange conducter at the planetarium, the art show and the slleeping concert in the Smart Space (sleep concert very funny, bunk beds in there and everything), think it was better this year in terms of what we saw than last year. And not so many distractions ;)

Sunday was up fairly early, considering. Dash over to Mia's for Yoga, and then back to do some work with Ryanne, and then for Nono, before heading over to Purry's for dinner.

If I ever needed confirmation i did the right thing leaving SF I got it then, seems like the proverbial has been hitting the fan: another creative director in who's pushing David out, SF may be up for sale, NYC poaching more money and more work, T and O still off on stress leave, Anika and Craig didn't get their contracts renewed, and they're losing money every month. From the way they were all talking about it, no one is enjoying being there, don't know why so many people stay...
Dinner was lovely, rendang and this leafy thing with white rice, lekker.

Fun packed, event filled weekend. It was nice.
